Bayon

Being one of my favorite trips of all time, I wanted to make something to put up in my house to be constantly reminded of my time in Cambodia and the adventure of my first real solo trip. I was thoroughly enthralled by the heads of Bayon Temple and thought about doing something bold and almost abstract with one of my Photos. This one really captured the age and craftsmanship of the temple so I cropped it down and then printed it at 3’6” x 6’, which is pretty big. I then hand built wooden frame for it and put it on my wall. Honestly, I love it. Up close it feels just like a nice black and white abstract, but comes to life as you take a step back.
