Jinshanling

I wanted to see the Great Wall of China but I didn’t want to see it with the crazy crowds near Beijing. So on a recommendation, I chose to go Jinshanling which is about 3 hours north of Beijing. I had to take a city bus for a few hours, then a taxi, then a small car that a local friend set up. When I got there it was freezing and snowing but the upside was that I had the whole region to myself!
